22 May 2008 Infosecurity Europe unveils online communityMembers of the information security industry will now be able to share their views and enter discussions in a new online community, launched by Reed Business Information: organisers of the Infosecurity Europe exhibition in April. The Infosecurity Adviser portal will feature product news and reviews, weekly blogs, an ‘Ask the Experts’ section, and information and advice about career development in the industry, as well as a search tool for vacancies. The portal invites users to ‘share their views on the key issues raised in the show’. Dr David King, ISSA UK and Chair of the Information Security Awareness Forum hopes that the portal “will help to bring together expertise and advice to those who have questions around information security.” stating that “This in turn will help to promote security awareness.” Visit the portal at www.infosecurityadviser.com.
